Who We Are

We're a small, community-driven project building Lidora Linux, a rolling-release Linux distribution based on openSUSE Tumbleweed. It's one of the few, if any, community distros in Vietnam to take this path instead of the more common Debian/Ubuntu base.

Our goal is simple: bring the performance-focused philosophy pioneered by projects like CachyOS to the openSUSE ecosystem. That means shipping the XanMod kernel, exploring microarchitecture-optimized builds (x86-64-v3 and beyond) for the applications people actually use every day, and doing it all transparently through the openSUSE Build Service.

We believe a rolling-release distro is a long-term commitment, not a one-off release. That's why we're building this with sustainability in mind from day one: clear documentation, automated monitoring of our build pipeline, and a growing team rather than a single maintainer working alone. We'd rather launch later with a solid foundation than rush out an ISO that can't keep up with itself.

This project is as much about learning as it is about shipping software. We're documenting the RPM/OBS/KIWI workflow as we go, partly because so little of it exists in Vietnamese today, hopefully making it easier for the next person who wants to explore this path too.
